Café Am Eck Baiersbronn

I purposely walked from far to get my black forest cake. i even missed my bus for this. but it was worth it! although it has traveled 4 hours journey, it still tastes super good. the flavour is just perfect. well balanced.

Nice cafe with great cakes and friendly staff. We took part in the black forest cake seminar. Very interesting with a lot of good tips. A big piece of the cake and coffee was included. Part of the schwarzkarte plus guest card which is also recommended.

Excellent service, great location, good beer selection, a rather enjoyable place for a coffee, a beer or a quick refreshment.

The service was so slow. Waited 20 minutes for 2 slices of black Forest gateaux and a cup of tea. Waited ages for the bill despite the waitress passing me many times. Eventually caught the waitress’ eye and yes, she had forgot about me. Cake was ok but nothing special. You’ll get better cake and service elsewhere.
