Auberge La Barbelotte - Bains

I am a pilgrim in the Via Podiensis segment of the Camino de Santiago de Compostela. After a nice day at the Chemin St Jacques I arrived tired and thirsty at the Auberge La Barbelotte. Both were immediately addressed by my friendly host. I feel absolutely blessed to stay here. All about this historic house and its old building is wonderful. All about its owners and the Auberge is excellent. My room is exceptionally comfortable, clean and well designed. I've already tested the bed with a four-hour nip. Five stars! During our wonderful dinner I experienced kitchen that would make every Michelin Koch jealous. My two French companions and I loved it and felt very pampered. Our hospitality was exceptional. I wish every night on the Camino could be spent here. As a traveler, I couldn't ask for anything. If you walk the Camino or just visit the spectacular Le Puy en Velay region, this should be your home away from home.

We walked for 6 days on the compostelle road in early August 2022. Barbelotte was the best accommodation we had. beautiful decoration, beautiful terrace, refined dishes, guests with small care... There was even a basin with laundromat (practice when you go hiking. )

Perfect, everything was really good, think about making an appointment.

Super welcome... better setting and especially super food

Great stage on the way to St Jacques. Grégory is an attentive host. The house kitchen made with local products is delicious, the rooms are spacious and comfortable.
