Ordered drinks, never arrived had to ask again later no waitress ever came back to check on us Someone wanted one more drink waited no one came! Made what would have been a excellent birthday meal satisfactory.
We have been to the cooperage in many times this was my first disappointment I ordered scallops and unfortunately they were fishy we ordered a steak which by the time it came out i lost my appetite so we took it home our waitress was attentive and try to make the meal as pleasant as she could.
We had a reservation at 2 pm but was running late we called and it was no problem. Under reservations they only had options for high tops and tables . I chose high tops but once I saw the outdoor garden we were sat there. Kelly was our server. She helped with my lunch choice which was the tuna wrap as I couldn't decide . We always go for the pot pies but on a hot sunny day we wanted something more light . My husband ordered the potato and onion encrusted chicken sandwich! We had to see what that was all about and it was delicious.
Arrived at the cooperage as we decided to dine outside.. upon sitting down we noticed the beautiful koi pond and quant tables and dining area. Our waitress was Liz she came over to ask if we wanted anything. She was super bubbly. We opted for the quiche off the specials menu... it was quiche with asparagus/shallot/goat cheese with an arugula salad. It was very good. Definitely more salad than quiche though. For entrees we ordered the meatloaf and the chicken pot pie. Now this is where things could have gone south but they handled it very well the meatloaf came out and it had mushrooms in the sauce i am allergic... i called Liz over and told her and she was so apologetic. She was like your right the menu doesn't say mushroom gravy... she asked me what else they could make me. While waiting for my chicken francaise i tasted the chicken pot pie which was AMAZING! In the meantime the manager came out and apologized. Then the chef came out and apologized. Shortly after my chicken came out which for a non Italian restaurant was GREAT!!! Overall a great dining experience great food and nice staff
Had a totally delightful experience. We ate outside on the beautiful patio overlooking the Koi Pond on a lovely day. The service was exceptional, not too much but very attentive. The food was outstanding, as always. Every plate was pleasing to the eye, and very generous. The Cooperage Inn is the complete package.
