D J Taco Shop - Baker City

I stopped by here for the second time, and it was just as fantastic as the first! I highly recommend it—the service was excellent too.

Discovering this little gem in Baker City was the highlight of my trip! While we dined at a few other places, D J Tacos truly made the drive worthwhile. We ended up having lunch there multiple times during our stay! From tacos and taquitos to chips and guacamole, this spot nails fresh Mexican cuisine. Although the owners aren’t Mexican, their food is delicious, satisfying, and offers a wide variety of choices. The daily specials complement the extensive menu, which includes burritos, tamales, taco salads, nachos, quesadillas, and more. Their homemade salsas are flavorful, and you can even take a bottle home to enjoy on your own tacos! Check out the pictures! I know I’ll be heading back to Baker City just to visit this place again!

First time to try this great little restaurant!. The guy making the food was upbeat and helpful. Loved my nachos.

This place does amazing crunchwraps! Been here twice on my way back to Boise and let me tell you it is so worth it. The guys that own it are fantastic too! 10/10!

Stopped in to pick up something for lunch. Ordered the Kraken. It was Huge! Was disappointed in it. It was all rice with a smidge of meat. The condiments in it sour cream, guacamole , lettuce, and the rest www almost non existent. The flavor was bland. The man at the register is not friendly at all. The poor chap making the food was so busy and could have used some help. This is a local business and I try to support local as much as possible. I don't think I'll go back.
