Burger King - Bakersfield

Very pricey. Recommend getting the double burgers the singles just aren't that great. Great crispy fries. Hot dogs are hot dogs nothing too write home about. Shakes are better than average.

First time here, ordered the bacon and cheese steakburger, was very good. Shoestring French fries were cooked perfectly, also they have good onion rings. Will be adding this to my list of restaurants, when I go to Bakersfield to do my shopping

I think the food here is okay. The burgers are a little thin and can fall apart. The hot dogs are better. But what surprised me yesterday (10/03/2021) when I came in at about 4:00pm 'ish was that I started to order and asked the cashier to split and grill my two chili dogs. She looked at me like a deer in the headlights. She, nor any of the other crew, had never heard of splitting and grilling a hot dog. This is such a basic thing that hot dogs places do if requested. Even the lowly Weinerschitzel down the street does it. Pinks in Hollywood, Carney 's in Studio City. So I ended up explaining to everyone in the front area how the simple process is done. The cashier who had been helping me replied, 'We 're just not trained to do that here. ' I just found this strange for a place the specializes in hot dogs and hamburgers. Perhaps the owner, if seen, could be made aware of such a simple process for the cooks to make available to their customers. Update: December 05, 2021 I am very glad to report that Freddy’s is now making split and grilled hot dogs to order. However, the restaurant still needs a button the register for this purpose. Right now, there is no way to reflect “Split and Grilled” on the order or on the receipt. Today, this led to some confusion between the order takers and the cooks as to what the order actually was. But in the end, the split and grilled chili cheese dogs were great. I have enclosed a yummy photo as reference here, this one particular dog being the third I ordered today. Three dogs was all that my finances and belly would permit.

High quality chop steak burger Great Chicago Style hot dog. Double burger with cheese California style, lettuce, tomato onion and Freddy's Sauce. Best Frozen custard. Always good pit stop when passing thru Bakersfield.

My wife and I came here for the last time. It wasn't bad. I wish I would of had a dessert from there. I had the Bacon and Cheese Double Steakburger and Chili cheese fries. Large order about $12.50 I'm glad my wife had ketchup in her car cause we didn't get any. The customer service was good! I felt bad cause I always asked for something else when I thought I was done. I enjoyed their sauce, I asked for thousand island sauce and peppers. The peppers were nice and spicy. The Burger was a 3½ stars for me. Chili cheese fries were good. Not super salty like wienerschnitzel. I'll definitely try them again the next time I'm in town. I've been trying many new different places and still have many to go.
