Filling Station - Bakersfield

We always make a point to stop here for coffee whenever we visit Bakersfield. This place serves excellent coffee at great prices.

This is the best coffee spot in town! We make a special trip across town whenever we can just to enjoy their drinks. If we lived closer, we'd absolutely stop by every day. Their matcha latte is honestly the best I've ever tasted, and the Tiger Toffee latte is also an outstanding choice! We really appreciate the owner's extensive coffee knowledge, and he's always so friendly. If you’re unsure about what to order, just ask—they’ll provide you with a fantastic range of recommendations! Plus, the prices are amazing—about two dollars less than the usual chain stores in the area! I would rate it a perfect 10 out of 10; you definitely have to try it!

The cranberry-walnut bagel is fantastic! (And I say that as a bagel enthusiast!) The coffee is excellent as well. Keep in mind that it's a drive-through, so be prepared to wait if there are cars in line ahead of you.

Spearmint Tea and Peanut Butter Bagel for the win every time!

I wasn’t sure what I wanted to order when I glanced at the menu, so I just explained my preferences to the barista. She suggested something that perfectly matched my cravings, and it was absolutely delicious! My caramel macchiato with an extra shot of espresso and chocolate whipped cream hit the spot. Plus, it was affordable, even with the addition of a bagel and cream cheese on the side. It cost less than what I usually pay at Starbucks, and you could really taste the love that went into making my drink. The coffee was fresh, not the stale bottom-of-the-pot stuff I often get at Starbucks, and my bagel came from the local Smith's Bakery. Sorry, Starbucks, but you've lost a customer to The Filling Station. I’m spreading the word that the quality and prices at The Filling Station are so much better!
