La Cabana Mexican Cantina - Bakersfield

I’ve always had a wonderful experience here. Been coming in for breakfast, lunch and dinner over the years. Today I stopped off for breakfast, they open at 8:00am. I ordered the chorizo con huevos, it comes with potatoes or rice your choice, beans and tortillas. It was very good, way more than I could eat, ended up taking the rest home in one of the tortillas for a breakfast burrito manana.

Love this restaurant. It's one my my families favorites. The staff are so friendly and the treat us like family. Oh! And the food is fantastic. They have authentic Mexican food plus a great traditional American breakfast, lunch and dinner selection. Great for the whole family with varying tastes. Everybody should experience La Cabana!

Customer service was really good, really enjoyed how attentive the waiter was he constantly asked if everything was ok, refilled often and very on point with his manners of service! He for sure got a well deserved tip lol. Now for the food its good would probably go again, just didn’t like how loud it is due to the music felt like I was in a night club but what can You expect from a Mexican bar type restaurant, just be ready to spend a pretty penny if you want a full course meal! Dinner for 2 was $84 plus the tip lol and no alcoholic beverages but hubbys belly was content:

Really only go for breakfast. Everyone knows their chicken fried steak is bomb diggity but their pancakes are a secret surprise of deliciousness. Buttery and fluffy. Try em! And sometimes the eggs come out too oily or 'dirty oil ' tasting but it 's not that often.

Good food, good service. I had the best shrimp cocktail in Bakersfield! They are pricy but worth it. Enjoy
