Mammie's Kitchen - Bakersville

I couldn't be happier with this place! They've definitely stepped up their game! I visited for breakfast after getting my oil changed at John's, and they even made my son Mickey Mouse pancakes, which made him one very happy little customer. The food was so good that I felt like I needed a nap afterward. The prices are fantastic too, with each plate costing around $5. We'll definitely be coming back for more! A special shoutout to the cream cheese French toast, which was delicious, and the portion sizes were HUGE! The staff was wonderful as well, especially our lovely waitress. Her grandpa sat next to us and was such a nice man. Overall, I love this place!

My favorite spot in Bakersville! The food is consistently excellent, and the staff is friendly and attentive. There's a nice variety on the menu, and the family-owned vibe makes it even better. I've tried something different each time I've visited, and I've been impressed every time. My top choice has to be the chicken bacon ranch Philly shown in the photo. The prices are also very reasonable! I would give it a perfect 10/10!

This is a fantastic spot for breakfast! I definitely plan to return because the prices are reasonable. While the gravy could use some sausage to enhance its flavor, the pecan French toast was absolutely incredible! I highly recommend checking this place out.

We go to the mountains 3-4 times a year, and we ALWAYS pay a visit to Mammie's Kitchen! The food is always fresh and delicious. We got there right at 11:00 when they were transitioning to lunch, but the cook agreed to make us breakfast since we were not local. Everyone who works there is super friendly. If you are looking for a great meal at a decent price, head to Mammie's Kitchen in Bakersville, NC!

I have been going right by Mammies kitchen for some time now and finally went in today for the first time and must say I'm really impressed with not only the food but the service I will be back!!
