Carriage House - Bakewell

We felt a bit spoiled for choice at Chatsworth House, as it has two other restaurants in addition to this one, but we found this one to be more suitable for children. It's a standard cafeteria style restaurant with a decent selection of sandwiches and drinks. The hot food options were acceptable, but vegetarian choices were somewhat limited. On the plus side, the hot drinks were quite nice. The staff were outstanding and very helpful, and the seating area was clean with enough space between tables. However, there were no clear signs directing us around. Prices were what you’d expect at this type of location. Overall, it was a pleasant visit.

The restaurant offers a lovely atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal in the sunshine.
