Sahil Bar Restaurant - Baki Azərbaycan

We had the best meal we've ever had in Baku. It's a bit challenging to find the entrance as it faces away from the waterfront, but once you do, it's incredible! We started with a pickle plate and smoked fish assortment appetizer, a perfect combination. The fish soup was delicious and piping hot, which was very satisfying. We then enjoyed the beef liver kebabs and marinated lamb for dinner, both of which were cooked perfectly. The variety of bread in the basket was a nice addition to our meal. The sparkling water and beer were ice cold. The coffee at the end was delightful. We wanted to try desserts, but we were too full! Despite splurging, the total bill was only 116 m, or about $60USD, which is very reasonable for such high-quality dining. This isn't a quick eatery, so take your time to browse through the extensive menu. It's worth it.

The restaurant offers fantastic food and drinks, with an elegant yet cozy atmosphere and a very welcoming staff. Everyone here provides excellent service, which is fast and professional. I particularly enjoyed the 'sturgeon sadj', not only for its great taste, but also for the unique presentation in a sizzling hot pan with coal underneath. I highly recommend this place!

The menu was extensive, perhaps too many choices. The food was decent, the Shah Plov with meat could have used more meat, as there were only 3 small slices as shown in the picture. The salad had a tasty dressing. The presentation was nice. Overall, it was a bit pricey considering its location.
