Mrs. H's Fish Chips - Bala

The restaurant offers large portions of fish and chips with a side salad, making it a great option for seafood lovers.

This was my favorite place at one time. Couldn't wait to get there a couple of weeks ago, and it was garbage. The fish was paper thin, and the batter was so thick and greasy. I would never go back and would not recommend it to anyone.

We got a takeaway last night and it was excellent. The batter on the haddock was tasty and crisp, while the haddock inside was perfect. By the time I got it back, the chips were a bit limp, but that was to be expected after a 20 minute drive. Highly recommended, and excellent value for money.

Quite possibly the best fish and chips in Ontario, certainly the best in Muskoka. Absolutely worth going out of the way for if you're in the area.

My friend and I had awesome fish and chips. Very large portions and excellent food. I will be back again and again.
