We traveled to the Adelaide Hills to support the local businesses affected by the recent bushfires. After visiting some wineries with delicious wines, we decided to have lunch at this retro cafe. It was quiet when we arrived, but bustling with customers when we left. The meatlovers pizza was flavorful with plenty of toppings and their homemade spicy BBQ sauce. The Caesar salad with chicken was excellent and a pleasant surprise. Give this cafe a try, you won't be disappointed!
The food at this restaurant is top-notch and brought to your table promptly. Despite being busy, the staff were still friendly and efficient, with the exception of one forgotten drink. The outdoor seating is shaded and inviting, while the inside can be a bit noisy but still has a wonderful atmosphere.
Lovely food accompanied by fabulous service. Was served by a young girl, who told me her name was Jamie. She was extremely efficient in what she did, as well as being a kind, friendly face. I will most certainly be back!
I loved the mocha it is made with real chocolate pieces. Yum! The service was friendly and prompt. The decor of the cafe was rather simple but thoughtful, with a small play area for children, and books to borrow. I really liked the art exhibition: There were lino cut prints of a well known local artist on display (Dec 2018 Feb 2019). The menu looked good and reasonably priced, with a good choice of vegetarian options. I'll definitely be back and try it out.
