We were already a few weeks before guests on the outdoor terrace and were thrilled with the view, the friendly service, the good food and the adjacent, especially for children, playground in the forest. We thought it was our new tribal restaurant! Two weeks later, however, we were very disappointed. Already on arrival, it was already a problem to push two tables together, the operation was very stressed and finally moved quite annoyed. We were there with three families, with two children between 2-6 years, for dinner. Since the weather was still good, our children are specially designed for small restaurant visitors. After not even 20 minutes, we were told that it bothered when the children went in and out. It would pull and the operation could not run undisturbed... So our children had to sit on the table. The operation came after some time and meant that it was already stressful when 12 people were only so unannounced and they would actually work in kindergarten. A strange form of apology for inappropriate, childless behavior. The Schützenhaus is neither a star restaurant nor, above all, on the contrary. Swabian regular table, battle plate and a very strong soundtrack are the landmark. And it seems that we later complained about our "loud" children. The hostess also took this for the occasion of the 6-year-old daughter with both hands to the head and to admonish her, but please be quiet now. You're not here alone. All children have to see a movie at the table from Not later. And yet, although at the time all the children were absolutely calm, I hardly understood my friend acoustically. It was so loud! But we have the reception in the end literally. My bill was too high, I immediately realized it couldn't be. The operation didn't notice anything. Just to recalculate my request, it turned out that it had calculated by 15 euros. We didn't give a hint of what we've never done. And complain to the hostess. No distinction, on the contrary, we have spoken behind and insulted. One should think that the gastronomy could be satisfied with twelve well-paid new guests. And whoever cannot cope with stress has nothing to look for in gastronomy. Especially since we had come back every month. This restaurant is only suitable for couples without children or older dominances. It is bad that there are still gastronomy in Germany today, where families with children are discriminated against. It doesn't make the best grate roast...

After a visit to Hohenzollern Castle, we came to the Schützenhaus (about 15 minutes by car). Even the food was very delicious and we had to wait for nothing long. There is a small selection of vegetarian dishes (e.g. cheese salads, salad variations). The service was also great and the services friendly. The price-performance ratio is also very good (normal prices for beautiful portions);

The restaurant offers a purely Swabian cuisine. The dishes are really good, the portions are large, and in proportion they are also cheap. The service is also very good. Services are friendly and fast. In summer you can sit on the very large terrace, with a magnificent view of the valley. We've been there several times, had a different dish each time. And were more and more than satisfied.

Wir waren nach einem Besuch der Burg Hohenzollern zum Schützenhaus gekommen (ca.15 min. fahrt). Da schönes Wetter war konnten wir draußen auf der großen Terrasse sitzen und die Aussicht übers Tal genießen. Auch das Essen war sehr lecker und wir mussten auf nichts lange warten. An vegetarischen Gerichten gibt es eine kleine Auswahl (u.a. Käsespätzle, Salatvariationen). Der Service war ebenfalls super und die Bedienungen freundlich. Auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut (normale Preise für schöne Portionen ;) )
