Contribuisci feedbackI love Meigas. Wow! Incredibly delicious food, wonderful service. Each dish was perfect, the eggplant chips were very creative and crispy. Lamb kebabs cooked for perfection. The Hepburn Springs Drink was nice. The waitress even turned off the volume of music when we were sitting right next to them. This consideration and courtesy! Compliments to the team!
This restaurant is a local favorite of mine that never disappoints! The atmosphere here makes me feel like I am dining overseas - it's upbeat, super comfortable, and puts me in a good mood with the music and ambiance. The food is always amazing and the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating, especially when it comes to allergies or preferences. We usually opt for the "Feed Me" option, which allows us to try a variety of items from their menu. No matter what we order, we always leave feeling incredibly full and satisfied. Just a tip - don't wear tight pants if you choose this option! Some of my favorite dishes from their fantastic menu include their Sangria, Beef Cheek, twice-boiled potatoes, grilled pepper, and of course, their churros with chocolate dipping sauce.
Meigas is a great Spanish restaurant in the middle of Ballarat. I tried the Spanish hot chocolate that was super creamy and super tasted, it was like melted chocolate. The mushroom tasted brilliantly on specialties and the eggplant cancers were right. I would stay away from Calamari, it was something too salty and sub par in taste. A really nice restaurant and great service.
Found this jewel when we decided to try Spanish food while we were in the city of Ballarat. I was surprised with their level of customer service and food taste. We had chili shrimps, baguette with pork and Calamari with rockets. If you can treat the heat, go for the chili prawn garlic, they are sooo fresh and felt like fireworks in my mouth!!!
Was in the area and decided to try Meigas out, we were not disappointed! We did make a booking as according to other reviews, they can get quite busy. Staff were very nice and patient. Complimentary bread and olives were provided as a starter. The pork loin was slightly tough and dry, but the chorizos were really good. Potatoes we’re so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside! Great meal overall. Pan Con Tomate Y Jamon, Meat Special Platter (Lomo En Adobo, Chorizo Al Vino, Deepfried Broccolini), Patatas Bravas
