Apollo's Fish and Chips

1/5.The reviews here are way off the mark.The last 3-4 times i've been here the food has been terrible.The food isn't cooked long enough, and the final product is anemic and tasteless. The chips are lifeless and have no taste. The fish batter kind of falls off as if it also wasn't cooked properly or made properly. The taste is spongy and doughy. It's a shame because the place is so close to my house. The only thing it has going for it is the atmosphere of the restaurant itself. Eureka fish and chips or Archer's have much better quality fish and chips.

I'll recommend a visit to Apollo's if you are around Ballarat and hunkering for fish and chips. Service and food was great and decor even better! Once you step into the shop it's like stepping into a time warp back to the 80s and 90s. Highly recommended

Stopped for some dinner with family. Staff exceptional, very generous portions, all freshly made and prepared. Not greasy. Couldn't ask for better. Will be visiting again.

Lovely ambience with great staff. The man who runs this place is an absolute legend. Food was 10/10 service was 11/10

As a food lover this has been the BEST fish&chips I have had yes this is a big statement but everything we had was cooked the way we liked it. The best money I've ever spent on Fish&chips. Thank you to the staff @ Apollo's Fish and Chips. Cheers Mark
