Gravyspot Ballarat - BALLARAT CENTRAL

We stopped in here on Thursday looking for a quick lunch before a funeral. Both of us were really impressed with the friendly service, low prices and homely style of the food. I had the home made pie with a side of (very hot, fresh)chips and (very tasty) gravy and Russ had a chicken snitzel and salad roll. We were about to buy a bottle of water but our server pointed out the chilled tap water available for free. Lunch cost us just over $16 and was huge and tasty.

I ordered the chips cheese and gravy. The chips were cold and stale, cheese was ok but the gravy lacked flavor. I was overcharged and given the wrong change. The person who served me didn't seem interested and didn't know what they were doing. For a big event like White Night I would of expected better quality product and service. On a positive note, the service was fast, menu prices seemed reasonable and the shop was clean and inviting. Has eftpos with no minimum.

This is one of the icons of late nights out in Ballarat. Whether you need a sobering hamburger or just their best ever chips and gravy, the Gravyspot will send you on your way feeling totally nourished! Definitely pay them a visit,

Regular lunch spot and GREAT service. The staff are really friendly and efficient, hoe often do you enter a cafe and get asked 'how is your day going'? Yep every day!

Super friendly staff, polite and cheery. Clean shop and there was also plenty to choose from. Heater was on so it was easy to escape the chilly Ballarat air.
