Sweet and Savoury on Sturt

A little gem....was stoked to discover this place yesterday....decor and ambience both wonderful...amongst the best in Ballarat...loved the 50s music, and the silent screen!!! Lots of veggie options, and they stock Pepperjack shiraz... What's not to love!!!....service was great too, our waitress was super friendly, and very helpful

My friends and I had high tea at this restaurant today. We were celebrating a birthday and found the food to be delicious, the service to be excellent, and the price to be fantastic! We all thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Thank you.

My brother invited me over there for a coffee and some food (my shout of course and I have to say I'm so impressed with the theme of the venue. I've never lived in the 1950's or earlier but your venue really puts the mood in and I gotta say I quite like it a lot! I really enjoyed the iced coffee that was made for me as well as the sandwiches! thanks to the chef and barista (my brother for a great meal and drink. And I really want to thank the owners (I'm sorry I can't recall your names for being very hospitable with me! It was such a pleasure meeting you both and being welcomed into your venue with open arms. I will definitely be back! I always try and leave some constructive feedback for the places I visit to help them progress as a venue so here is a my little bit of feedback for you! The iced coffee I had was delicious, you have a great barista, and the price was fair for the ingredients used. Coffee beans, ice cream, caramel I believe and dark chocolate chips. $8 I believe? Satisfied! The incredible sandwiches I had were so nice I wanted more but didn't want to pig out! but for $7.50 I would expect the sandwiches to be bigger slices to fit the price! So the dish was delicious, but the price in my opinion as a customer should either be changed or the sandwiches should be bigger so the customer doesn't ever feel negative towards the venues pricing on their dishes : Again, thanks for such great service and your hospitality, I will be back soon!
