Mexican Del Rio - Ballina

Mexican eating ever! bland boring not authentic or even close to any Mexican eating I otherwise had, my partner here to dinner honestly my five years old can cook better. not sure why they are still in business and every time I go by and see a customer there, I'm sorry for them it's a embarrassment to ballina

Made a booking and went to the restaurant on time. When we got there, there was a bit of a queue and everyone else was quickly seated whereas we were completely ignored about 3 times. the staff repeatedly saw us standing there waiting for our table and continued to ignore us. Stood there for 15 minutes with no service and decided to leave. Restaurant itself is very dark and dingy. Would not recommend. We just walked to the next Mexican which was way better with outside seating and great service

Mexican del rio is the best mexican I ever had. I love coming here and know that I get an authentic and tasty meal with beautiful service. in any case recommend!

My partner, daughter, and I visited last week during the school holidays from Melbourne. We had a fantastic meal at this restaurant, ordering the trio of dips, chicken quesadilla, bark chimichanga, and bean nachos. This was our second visit to Ballina this year, with our first meal in January also being enjoyable. My 13-year-old daughter said these were the best nachos she's ever had, and she fancies herself a Nacho-Aficionado. Not sure what the negative review below is about, as all we experienced was delicious food. Highly recommend this place.
