Stewart's Shops - Ballston

Needs more attention. One entrance is blocked from the I87 highway with tractors and bull dozers. Construction. Looked to me like the staff inside left the parking area unattended. Whopper gas prices too in this area. Stewart's needs 2 more attendants at this location. Fast pumps! Review: 4

I had to address the cleanliness of this Stewart's with the local office that told me they would look into my complaint. I go to this location about 6 times a month but had to stop. The only time I've seen the tables and coffee area clean was on a scheduled check of the store. This day I walked in and was amazed. Then I noticed several people with paperwork walking around and new why things were different. I have complained about the coffee area having an almost vomit like smell and to my amazement was told it was probably the trash by the coffee area. I watched for 20 minutes and nothing was done. My last and final visit I had 2 moms offer me baby wipes to clean up the table. They had to use the wipes on their's so I cleaned the table to have lunch. I did as a newer employee if there was something I could clean the table with and he said he was busy and cashed out the 1 person that made him so busy. Then I watched stand behind the counter as minutes went by.

As a native to this area, I have to say, that I love Stewarts. Although, I'm not very pleased with my last visit. I can't even tell you how many lottery tickets I have bought since being 18, in which I haven't been asked for ID, keep in mind I've bought them at this location without an ID. Now being 20, and never being asked for ID, I didn't bring my drivers license, like normal, and went inside to buy a Powerball, as the winnings are huge. The cashier was also not very nice about it, and very rude. She didn't even say hello, or acknowledge me either. I do understand you can't sell to minors, and can get in a lot of trouble if you do, but if anything, I look older than 20, not younger. So, I went to the Stewart's down the road, and purchased a Powerball with no hassle. Will definitely not return to this location.
