Winnies 1975 - Ballymena

I was very disappointed with the food and service at the restaurant today, which is a shame because it is usually decent. I ordered soup and bread, but the bread was cut so thin it was practically the heel of the loaf, and my soup was cold. I asked for it to be reheated, but it came back just as cold. When I mentioned this to the server, he took my plate and walked away without offering any apology or attempt to resolve the issue. I ended up paying a lot for a dry piece of bread. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Yesterday, I went to this cafe with my sister for coffee and scones. Unfortunately, this place wasn't to my liking. The coffee was good, but the scones were disappointing as they tasted stale. The cafe had a very plain atmosphere, which didn't appeal to me. However, they do have a charming gift shop that is worth checking out.

The newly renovated restaurant looks fantastic. One of the best qualities of any establishment is its staff, and Fergus is a great example of this! He goes above and beyond to ensure a delightful dining experience. Highly recommend!

This eaterie has very good staff. friendly and efficient. We had coffee and scones but they were dull and un exciting. The service door was maybe open for Covid reasons but it meant the place was very cold. Not really my place for a relaxing, tasty morning coffee.
