Contribuisci feedbackThe restaurant feels quite overpriced given the small portion sizes. We were disappointed with the lamb dish, which had a strong odor reminiscent of meat that had been in the fridge for too long—perhaps the fridge needs servicing? The gemista was the standout dish, while everything else was average or below. I hope this feedback is taken constructively for future improvements.
For our meal, we indulged in homemade small pita breads, octopus, saganaki prawns, chips with feta, and slow-cooked lamb. Every dish we tried was exceptional—thoughtfully crafted and incredibly fresh, offering a modern twist on traditional Greek cuisine. We've already returned since our first visit, and it has quickly become one of our favorite spots. This hidden gem on Darling Street is a must-visit!
This is the best restaurant in Balmain! The textures and flavors of each dish were absolutely exceptional. The ambiance was lovely, and the owner personally greeted us both at the beginning and the end of our dinner. I would give it an 11 out of 10! Bravo! I can't wait to return!
Always great food and good service. It has a familiar yet inventive menu and they also make great martinis .
The food decor were really nice. Unfortunately the single waiter was on his own and running around re .. RUNNING) to manage to service all tables and always smiling so had no extra time for any table except for the basics. Also when I suggested that I did expect a 'little ' more cheese on the cheese plate ... than 2 small triangular slivers of hard cheese very modest piece of brie). The chef argued, suggesting it was a 'single serve '. Albeit on 2nd request via the waiter I received .. 2 more slivers along with a comment compliments of the chef . Also, we were party of 5 and all 'cut ' share plates were cut into 4 which made it difficult at table.
