Pt. Leo Beach Kiosk - Balnarring

The staff are fabulous, this chips are delicious and the burgers are to die for. Loved the friendly family atmosphere, relaxing on the lawn overlooking the bay. Kids had a great time. Very relaxing.

This used to be our favorite spot for brunch before 2023. However, now that it has been renovated, the kiosk experience is quite disappointing. We used to love the laid-back vibes of years past, waiting on the open grass for our order and enjoying the sense of community. But now, the kiosk faces the road and is connected to a large toilet block, completely ruining the previous atmosphere. It's no longer a relaxing spot to eat lunch on the grass, as you can hear people closing toilet doors while waiting for your order next to the road with no shade. It's a shame to see such a design failure that has destroyed the chill surf beach vibe of Pt Leo. We wouldn't recommend going here unless you really need a restroom while sipping on a coffee.

I'm not sure why this restaurant is on TripAdvisor. We didn't order anything because they were almost out of everything since it was the last day of the season. It's a bit average, but it's just a decent beach kiosk. I wouldn't go out of my way to visit it.

The restaurant has a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. The food, milkshakes, and coffee are all excellent. The setting among the gum trees is very relaxing. We enjoyed sitting on the comfortable benches, and on nicer days they offer outdoor seating on a deck. A big thank you to Tina and the staff for their fantastic and friendly service.

If they need this coffee and a bite to eat freshly cooked egg and speckrolle and to know a really good coffee a great place.
