The Epicurean Kitchen, Balnarring

When I called to speak with the owner, I was surprised by her rudeness. She told me that's how their prawn pizzas are and offered to let me try another type. I agreed to the marinara pizza since the prawn pizza left me unsatisfied, and I usually can’t finish an entire pizza. Miraculously, the marinara arrived in about 30 minutes, which made me think she was eager to get rid of an unhappy customer. However, when I opened the box, I found the marinara pizza looked like it had been thrown together carelessly. Every ingredient was off-balance on the thin, soggy crust. I understand that accidents happen, but when I tried to send her a picture of the pizza, she dismissed it, claiming it must have been my fault for its condition. So, just a warning to anyone considering ordering from this place—good luck!

My experience at this restaurant was mediocre. I didn’t feel a warm welcome from the young waitstaff, nor did I receive any exceptional service during the evening. The roast vegetable pizza was just alright; the pumpkin was overcooked and the other vegetables were mushy, making it more like a roast vegetable puree pizza. However, the crust was well-cooked and crisp. There are better options nearby, so I haven't gone back.

The wait was an astonishing 80 minutes. I really don't understand how a pizza place can operate with such long delays. I won't be returning, and it doesn't even matter if the food is good or not.

Terrible experience. They forgot my phone order, (strange as I was their only customer) rudely told me to wait another 5 minutes when I arrived, apologies don't seem to be needed here from staff. Ironic as they have a sign explaining that customers need to be polite to their staff!! After another 15 minutes waiting, bored as hell as they couldn't even be bothered to provide any reading material to a mere customer. I was told my order was ready. No apologies, the owner gave off the distinct impression that she was doing me the favour. When I got home discovered the pizza undercooked and soggy. An artform in itself considering it was a thin base pizza and home was a 2 minute drive. Go to ciao bella down the road, delicious pizza and always welcoming even when I have gone in there with my four young children. It's worth paying a tiny but more to actually feel like your custom is wanted!

Not even open when they state they are. Website states they're open at 4:30 but the phone rings out. Poor service. I find pizza's delicious but overpriced.
