I enjoy a lot of food, and the dining experience is always fantastic. Every item on the menu is tasty and true to its roots. Don't be hesitant to try it all!
I recently had some of the best Indian food in the USA at this restaurant. The ambiance and decor were excellent, with a family-owned feel where the grandmother even came out to chat with us and ensure we were enjoying our meal. I highly recommend trying the traditional thali for a sampling of everything. We also tried the darbar special and rogan josh, both of which were delicious. The experience reminded me of dining in a cozy, brick-lined place with exceptional service.
My family and I came here after my sister's graduation ceremony. We were trying to find restaurants that were open late and not only were they open an hour past most restaurants, they were very accommodating to us and did not rush us out. They also have a separate parking lot but it is a walk away.
Can't beat a great buffet, 2 soft drinks and tip for $30. I went all vegetarian on this one and everything was delicious. More fresh vegetables for the salad section would be a welcomed addition. There are several Indian uses for cucumber (which they had there) to make appetizing salads. A little pickling and curry and they would make that part of the buffet equally as appetizing and the rest. BTW, dessert was included with the Buffet, but I did not over indulge. Overall really good, especially for the price and variety of dishes. J,
