Duck Duck Goose Fells Point - Baltimore

Fantastic, home style, French restaurant. The service is fast and friendly. The food is absolutely amazing. They carry a diverse, quality wine list and even a few decent whiskeys. I really think this is some of the best overall food in its class anywhere in the Baltimore/DC area.

I’ve had this place on my Baltimore bucket list since I was in grad school and could only dream of affording a place whose google page had on it.This was absolutely magical. The food was delicious and the wait staff was very kind and attentive. I would recommend treating it like small plates and only getting the appetizers because the cost of the entrees to the quality wasn’t great. The small plates are where this place shines.They were great with identifying foods with my allergens and brought out champagne for us after dinner to celebrate our special event!Will definitely be going back.Dietary restrictions: I mentioned a dairy intolerance and the server immediately noted exactly what type of dairy was in what. It really helped me figure out what I needed accommodations on and what wasn’t going to be an issue.

This is (or was? my favorite restaurant in all of Baltimore. The food here is consistently great. They removed the grilled foie gras from the menu, but had duck liver pate as an alternative which was still pretty good. My favorite is the duck fried rice, and you can never go wrong with the Escargot. I would rather have a baked Camembert instead of deep fried, but it was pretty good. Overall, I left with the feeling that they are making the menu more American and less French, and this breaks my heart.The truly awful part of my latest visit was the service. The waiter had NO idea what he was doing. He missed part of the order and forgot about our drinks. Most of the evening he was MIA, and never cleared the table before bringing the next dishes or the bill.

The food was amazing and waitress was terrific. The host was accommodating, but a little bit unfriendly. The place was very hot inside/stuffy. The restaurant didn't mark us as present and open table sent me a note. When I called the restaurant at 9:40pm same night to get them to remedy the issue, I was met with a less than helpful phone person who was insisting I call back the next day and remedy the problem. I was already inconvenienced by the restaurant not checking us in, then calling to fix it, only to be told to call back again to speak with management. The employee was hardly willing to take a message even and made me feel guilty for asking her to help with this. This doesn't leave me with a carefree feeling, but rather annoying logistics I now have to manage for 2 days. Not good.

Really good food. Do not miss the duck collection and the croque madame. the wee is all good and the staff was so nice. they let us try a million so that we can decide. they are short staff and worked very hard to provide exceptional service. Thank you!
