Pho Bac - Baltimore

I am Vietnamese, so I am always excited to try Vietnamese restaurants in other cities. I'm right on the point in my assessment. the good: super friendly staff. for the pork chopper, I love how everything is organized on a round dish. the pork is well marinated and thick. Many carrots and daikons to have is a big plus for me. bun bo hue is tasteful. beautiful variety of entrees. the bad thing: I had 2 banh mi for takeout, and I was super disappointed. I guess as this restaurant is in canton, it became a bit Americanized. the banh mi felt like a subway in the subway with Vietnamese arrivals. the banh mi was not flaky, nor was the right mayo used. I would not recommend this for people who are authentic banh mi

This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in baltimore downtown so far. the pho here I just eaten this month is absolutely excellent and tasty. must taste restaurant in baltimore.

This is our go to spot for pho in the neighborhood. My favorite is bun cha Hanoi with generous portion. Food and service are always reliable
