There is a board featuring all of the day's specials and I chose the today's special sandwich, a chicken salad on a croissant which was excellent. The croissant was large and fresh and even had bacon and a slice of pepper jack cheese. The today's soup was a delicious clam chowder. I had a large mocha latte and a slice of cheesecake also. The ambiance was so enjoyable spent over an hour here. Will definitely go back and next time would like to try a breakfast sandwich.
Hamilton ranked #4 for hottest affordable neighborhood in America!
Original review: I was really looking forward to having cold coffee for the office, but the keg never showed up. I called and confirmed that it was still supposed to be delivered, and after checking with the delivery truck, I was told it should be there any minute. No one showed up. I would have been happy to just pick it up myself at the facility since I had already paid for it in advance to avoid leaving the staff without coffee.
We were included on a tour through zeke’s roast coffeeery by baltimore heritage. the central location of the roast is located on the terrace of montebello in the section lauraville of baltimore city. the tour was guided by one of the owners who took us through the entire plant and gave us a quite extensive formation of coffee from its history, locations of coffee farmers, as they grew and harvested and finally, as it was here and how it made drinkable. it's quite a story, and we owed ourselves to the process we haven't had so far. zeke’s has become one of the most popular coffees in baltimore and the environment and it is a real opener to see how close their business is running. after the tour we were treated on a free cup of our choice in the zeke’s cafe a few blocks away. we recommend you to try the tour if you love good coffee! tours are only by agreement.
I absolutely love everything about this new restaurant and I always look forward to their weekend breakfast specials. My favorite dish is the Hippie Dazzle roast, the flavors are rich and delicious. I just wish they had donuts available on the weekends, not just on Fridays. Unfortunately, I did have a baked item that was a bit dry, which was disappointing considering the prices are a bit high.
