Hotel-Gasthof Wilde Rose - Bamberg

The restaurant is a bit inconspicuous in a side street. we came by the fall and tried it out. we were not disappointed, eating was great. everything was very harmonious, fresh, juicy and tasty. we were really excited and happy to come back.

The gas house has a pleasant flair, it is cozy, also the waiter a (feeling) kind of touri feeding radiated, factual and quick, the friendly lack. the price/performance ratio fits, we have eaten well and the portions were sufficient. only the exchange request of the supplement for 1€ is not ok (croquets for pommes, i.e. nix world moving).

Hotel-Gasthof wilde rose had a very large room. it was quiet and the staff was very friendly.

When my friends booked our rooms in this hotel, they explained that the hotel has a wonderful restaurant, so we don't need to look for one and just have to go down. we did not know how famous it was until we tried to reserve a table, the restaurant was full, everything was reserved. but as we were guests of the hotel, they finally found a table for us. eating was very good. we had the fish dish (tender), two brat pans with meat and potatoes, fried together with other delicious things. we had frankfurter, eis (mango) and more. I can't remember all the dishes we had on these two evenings, but the price was amazingly good, I can't remember to have paid so little in such restaurants in other places I visited in Germany (approximately 70 euro for all four of us not including wine, beer, coffee, tea and hot chocolate drink).

This is a beautiful, cozy place in central location. the service is friendly. that eat often disappointed. it is ok, but do not expect good Franconian cuisine.
