Kachelofen - Bamberg

Great place to sit on the afternoon, drink a beer and enjoy the beauty of the city. eating is very tasty, the service is ok.

Very good address in the heart of bamberg. friendly reception. traditional eating, rich and plentiful.

The restaurant was quite small and was packed when I visited lunch on Sunday. the fried pork bell was in order, not the best I had in Germany. it was a good value for money. social distancing was not well observed.

That was simply the best I had lived in Germany in all my life. if they appreciate simple but good German cuisine, this typical Franconian restaurant will blow up their minds.

Good food and friendly service. a little upset when they said they didn't accept credit cards when the lady was paid in front of us by the card. the server murmured something about taking German cards? for tourists this information is important when they eat. with food and wine and work a bill. fortunately, we had a bit of money.
