We searched Trip Advisor and found Villa Geyerswoerth, and the reviews were right. We had the Soup with baked Beetroot and truffles, the bass with black rice, and the fennel with scollops and prawns. Very good ambiance and service. Lovely wine from the region.
The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating (in a shady arbour, perfect for hot days). We were welcomed by a charming hostess who - when we returned a few days later - remembered us immediately and referred to our previous conversation with her.Food was excellent, as was the service.
This lovely, quiet spot attached to a luxury hotel with a small river-side garden offers for lunch a limited but exquisite and healthy menu. Just minutes by foot from tourist hot-spot Altes Rathaus, it's a hidden gem with excellent service. (Dinner seems to have a full menu - our visit was Sunday lunch.)
There was a good selection of food and the spread was very good; however, the cost was a bit pricy, even for service at the hotel.
