Home in Australia now, the Raki Bar in Vamos was one of the highlights of our visit to Crete: great music, great food, and great times shared with our Cretan friends.

Wish we'd found this before our last night in the gorgeous Vamos!!

A wonderful little gem of a taverna hidden in the old town of Vamos. Lovely hosts, Dimitri and Evgenia, make you feel so welcome and the cooking is divine., greek food but with a cosmopolitan twist...very clever and totally delicious. They also feature some amazing musicians...often world class! A surprising treat for all. I love this little place.
