Ab Zab - Ban Talat Nua

Wonderful view for the sunset. I was the only customer which is ok. But the food was barely OK, not as good as you get it everywhere. Which is a bad sign given how any modest place can do delicious meals. I took a salad and a curry. Had to ask for the shrimps to be cooked again, half raw. The salad felt like a curry, not fresh. And the curry was loaded with a ton of coconut paste , heavy and too sweet. Mild experience.

Charming family run restaurant at a very good location. Walk all the way to the basement to sit next to the sea where the waves hit the rocks. Don't expect a polished place. Price is affordable.

Recommended by the receptionist at our hotel, Kalima resort. We came here for lunch and was really pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food! Restaurant was empty during Sunday lunch, but hopefully more tourists will be back next time! Food presentation was really pretty and a neat touch! Portions were quite big too! Views were very beautiful with constant sounds of the waves crashing near the rocks nearby. Good service too, would come back again next time.

Surprise gem of a find opposite the hotel I stayed in. The restaurant was inconspicuous and empty but we were pleasantly surprised when we went down to the lower floor where there were amazing views of the cliff and sea! Food was also very reasonably priced and authentic. Very value for money for the experience of dining by the sea. Highly recommend.

Place itself could do with a bit of TLC and our waiter didn’t seem to care that we’re there but the food is amazing and also cheap as chips! We’ve been there couple of times already and probably will go again.
