Laimai Courtyard Restaurant Bar

A nice restaurant close to the beach (over the road) set up on green astroturf and trees (creates a nice ambiance). Went there for dinner and they had a live band which were quite good, and a DJ during their intermission overall a pleasant experience. Tried their chicken pad Thai and pineapple fried rice (served in a pineapple) their portion sizes were good however you definitely pay for what you get with both dishes being 350 baht (prices quoted in menu are without the meat added). The food was good but not the best we had on the island. I would visit again on a nice evening.

Nice refreshing watermelon drink. Order a burger was pretty good. The fries are nice and crispy. Tried the sea bass fish and chip not quite the same as Haddock or Cod but still nice. The fruit platter was nice with very sweet yummy mango.

Lovely layout over looking the beach. Food was prompt and tasty. Staff were friendly. Fresh juice was delicious! Plenty of seating options and free wifi.

Great atmosphere, good entertainment and the staff were amazing. Had great meals there both western and Asian foods went several times will be back see you soon.

Where to start… Everything is expensive and not worth the price. The Margherita pizza was small and tasted like it had just come out of a cardboard box. The steak sandwich was soggy, the meat was tough, dry and undercooked. They gave us a 10% discount that they actually give everyone. The cocktails barely had tast. Ambience was ok but service was strange, they kept coming back to ask us if we were ready to order when we were clearly still looking over the menu.
