Wrangling Grace Cafe - Bancroft

I had the WRanGling grAce CaFE burger. They add applewood bacon, a fried egg, some jalapeño jelly and just downright deliciousness to this juicy burger. I cannot say enough about this place, its decor, or its amazing owner, Elaine, who is an artist to say the least. The place itself is an experience. If you're ever in Northern Iowa, it is absolutely worth a visit! It is a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with finger licking amazing food. I'm from NY where great food abounds, and I have no doubt this restaurant would thrive there. I now live in Austin, TX (also a city with great food , but when I visit Iowa, THIS is where I want to eat. I'm a big believer that LOVE is in the details, and boy does this place make and serve food with love! My family had dinner here last week my 1 year old son's mac and cheese came in a little lunch pail, with perfect size portions and a side of apple sauce. A few days ago, we stopped in for a quick breakfast, they made his pancake into a little bear face with banana slices for its eyes and a tangerine for the smile. The food is why you come, but it's the DETAILS that make you want to keep coming back. What a gem this place is! They're open M F for breakfast and lunch Wednesday's Fridays they serve dinner (can you say Broasted Chicken?! yummm!! Did I mention they also have a bar and FREE WIFI? BONUS!! And lastly, they sell really cool stuff for your home, look around for some unique gifts to bring home. I even bought a bracelet there, super cute! Ok, I'll stop now, but moral of the story, when in Bancroft, stop at the WG :

WOW! 5 stars are reserved for the best. Wrangling Grace Cafe is one of the best. Atmosphere is whimsical and pleasant. Soup of the day was Creamy Cheesy Potato Tomato. DELICIOUS! BLT was the lunch special with tomatoes picked this morning. Very good. And the Moscow Mule was the best I've had. Outstanding service. Having no limes, the cook ran to the grocery store. I'm kind of pissed because they are a 2018 Best Burger in Iowa nominee. I guess I'll have to go back to try one.

Great spot in a neat little town. Bancroft Iowa is truly a stop to make. Food is terrific with a great vibe!

This place is amazing. They just expanded there menu and have a few extra burgers on it now. The food is great, and the cook is amazing. Easily one of the top 3 burger places I have ever been to. Definitely a must try!

Nice breakfast joint. Small mom and pop shop. If you get there early, the farmers gather and talk shop. Meals are cheap. I spent 5 buckaroos and was stuffed.
