I prefer to come to this Kiarong branch instead of the much larger Yayasan branch, as it is much easier to park here, and free to dislike Bandar branch. Really like her teppanyaki tenderloin beef with garlic rice. Beautiful surroundings in this cozy restaurant, also very limited number of tables so better to reserve than it is usually full book, unless your attempt to go when they start open at 6 pm. Price is higher than other Japanese restaurant, but you get high quality food. Service was very good and reasonable fast when you come before all tables are filled. Very recommended
This is their first branch and the session is very limited. It feels a bit cramped, especially if you have a large group, go to their Waterfront branch when that is the case. As far as I can remember, they are still consistent for the countless times I have gone. I always like their flavors and stay my favorite sushi place in Brunei.
Best Japanese restaurant in Brunei with high quality food. Lachs sashimi is very fresh. All other sashimi not so fresh due to low sales but this is similar to other Japanese restaurants in Brunei.
It has dishes that escapade does not, its more expensive, but the quality of the food you receive is worth it.
First takeaway from Kaizen Kiarong since second lockdown started. What I got is the Combi Set B for just $18 comes with dozens of sashimis and unagis too, and Rock Shrimp Tempura $10.8( it’s spicy and much to the flavorful side) but on my second time ordering the combo set B, turns out the Tuna was loosing its taste of the sea, the meat was dry on the inside. But overall the rest has no complaints. I would advise that when you call to order, remind them of the freshness of the sashimis as they tend of get ruined easily
