This halal restaurant has been here for decades, uniquely served Chinese and Indian foods, also remember a decade ago, most of the tables by next to HSBC staff during the lunchtime. Even if HSBC had closed well in Brunei, they still enjoy good beck. During immersion, you notice that they are large tablet delivery of 40 hot drinks on the street on some business meetings. Recommend her roasted chicken rice, served with some preserved veg. Also tried their Penang Kway teow, very good wok hei and even had tails for authentic taste. Her Roti kosong was good and curry sauce unlike other Indian restaurant. Overall good food and fast service from the 4 waiters.
Love their fried noodles and their homemade currypuff. Known for their soft bread omelet with tomatoes ketchup inside. It's simple, but delicious. Good for morning breakfast. Your owner and staff are friendly as always.
Had a takeaway from Hainanese Chicken Rice (Nasi Ayam) and was not disappointed, it even picked Veg that is a big plus one of the best Nasi Ayam in Brunei, as far as I tried. Would probably not immerse since it is not usually my scene (spiritually be realistic), but takeaways are feasible. I hope they wait or even improve. They are also Halal!
On business trip. Food is served quickly and there are a variety of foods. Huge portion and delicious. Try the green bean soup, chicken chop rice, fish balls noodle. Portion, taste, price beats Singapore food at any time.
Good place with mix of some chinese and indian food...
