Le Grand Large - Bandol

Le grand large is located on the island bandor directly opposite bandol. the greeting is fantastic. the staff are competent, friendly and friendly. eating is excellent and a good value for money. if they are looking for a special culinary memory in a unique...setting, they cannot go wrong. bravo an brigitte and her team. johannes

Terrible service. After we served the wrong bottle wein, we wait 20 minutes until someone takes our order. Finally, the restaurant manager (who seems to be the only one for commanding) comes by and speaks very much to us. very rude wise. she argues that the restaurant has a small kitchen, so wait. we'll pick up the bill and we'll go with our bottle of wine. she says tasty as « this will release a table, good realign » “I understand that this is a small island with limited restaurant options, but this is not a valifreason for such a bad service.

Friends living in bandol had told us about this restaurant so we had pre-ordered a table for lunch and I am glad we did it because it was very busy at 1.00 a.m. fortunately, we have been good in our second course! excellent eating and a wonderful environment with the sun on the Med...Perfect!

Visiting friends in the region, we were taken to Le Grand Large, which is a place they visit regularily. We understand why... Even though the food is nothing out of the ordinary as such, the terrace is a gem as is the entire island....A resort only a few minutes by boat from Bandol, and full of visual treats, a hotel, several restaurants and bars, small shops, a beach and severaæ small seaside nooks and hideaways. Le Grand Large might not be the best restaurant in the region, measured by its food, but the setting must be hard to beat...

We decided to visit the island and to eat here at lunchtime,and we chose this restaurant,but from the beginning the staff was rude and an old lady tries to tell us that they no longer had lunch at 2.15 P.M, when it was on the time schedule. was opened up to 3 P.M., we had luck that another waiter said that the kitchen is still open, we were getting acquainted and we did not meet another weak teller, average wine of the house, the only plus is the intention. very disappointing service, I wonder if this is the French service.
