The Keg Steakhouse Banff Downtown

Was sat at my table and notice there is a hair sticking out of the folded napkin with utensils in it. I’m grossed out and give it to the server and move on. When my cup of water is filled, I notice a lipstick stain on it meaning it wasn’t washed properly. Cant speak for the food as I had to leave because I got grossed out and question the cleanliness of the restaurant at that point. If that’s what the tables look like, I can’t imagine the back kitchen. Honestly it was really unsanitary and I was disappointed because I was looking forward to eating at the keg.

Great service, food and ambience in this place. We had a steak combo each and really enjoyed it. Our waiter Patrick was really attentive and a good laugh which increased our enjoyment of our dining experience! Stopped in for a drink at the bar after skiing. The draft beer selection was food. The staff were very professional and very friendly. Parking: Parking behind on or near Bear Street. Parking garage has paid and free options. Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: CA$10–20

Went here on a Saturday evening for dinner with friends and had a really good time. Casey was our server and she was super attentive and friendly the whole time and was more than happy to take pictures for us. The food was great and came out fairly quickly. Went here for a nice dinner after a day of skiing, food was great as always classic keg. However, our server (no nametag) made us extremely uncomfortable and ruined the experience. He was persistently trying to upsell and pressure us to get more things (dessert, more drinks, etc), never told us his name, and was quite rude and blunt throughout the entire experience. Had we had a different server this would have likely been a 4 5 star review, unfortunately not the case.
