Alberta Wing Shack - Banff

This was our first time at The Wing Shack and we ordered 4 commands from wings. The wings were big, crispy, juicy and the flavors were delicious! I would highly recommend trying this place. 1 pound wing for $11,99 is also pretty good. A

True local hidden gems! We found this amazing wing rack and would recommend this to everyone. They have a wide selection of 69 flavors from classics to some unique options. We have the Banff, Montreal-Canadian and honey garlic and was absolutely blown away. We never had fried wings and fries. The balance of crabs and sauce on these wings are hard to come. The Banff is a butter chicken sauce with pineapple topping is my personal favorite and the Montreal Canadian is like a maple sweet wing with a spicy kick. You can really taste how the sauce made in the house and perfected. Every order is made so that they are fresh and hot. The owner and the staff were very friendly. While you eat, you get a fantastic view of Kaskadenberg. And the best surprise is the price. You get such a great value that it is worth the ride from the main part of the city. 10/10 cannot wait to come back, I wished this at the beginning of my trip.

Sooo happy I found this hidden jewel randomly on our last day in Banff. The restaurant is located in an industrial area of Banff (can look sketched for some people and the tourist attractions, but the food is amazing. We had the doritos chicken burger and 1 pound wing. The doritos chicken burger was very good. The meat was so big, it was flooded from bread (Have you ever eaten a burger, with the patty/meat is greater than the bread? I never did. The Doritos taste was light, but simply tasty enough to give the burger a special kick. The chicken was perfectly fried and crisp. For the chicken wings they have 69 different flavors (you get to choose 1 taste / pound wing. We went for the Montreal Canadiens sauce (which we allegedly honey garlic, maple syrup and Sriracha, for a sweet and spicy taste. I never liked chicken wings, as I always thought they were torn off, but these are HUGE, FRIED and SO TASTY. We recommend this restaurant for all who visit Banff and like roasted chicken. So far the best we ever had and the prices are very fair. The checkout was also very nice and friendly, which made the whole experience perfect. Definitely will come back when we ever visit Banff again.

Wonderful service and food. The owner was so friendly and gave us some good tips for our further stay in Banff. The burger is the best in town, no doubt.

(Banff Location) Great wings that are all equal parts tasty, crispy, crunchy, juicy and all for great prices, considering most Banff restaurants are more pricey. For sure recommend taking a chance on the local wings/fan favorites, as they have some unique and savory flavors. I had the Montreal Canadien wings which were sweet and spicy. The taste brings a mix of sweet maple syrup contrasted with a low to mild spice. The chicken burger is decently large, with a juicy crunch for every bite (and nice Swiss cheese). All the fries are good too ! Parking is quite easy, as you can park either right in front of the store or just on the street beside/across from it, then just walk over. It's a quiet area to enjoy good without all the of the crowding of main parts of the Banff tourist area. The owner is very kind and attentive to making sure customer's needs are met. If you're coming through Banff, try this out to change up from some of pricey restaurants and still get some good eats !
