Stop here for a tomb and lunch while a lake blinds. I usually don't like to buy lunch at these places, but on a long day of travel, stopped to see the lake around lunch and was on Friday in the high season at noon, it was impossible to get a table when you were?t a hotel guest. So you stayed the pantry where you were a crowded and confusing space for the privilege of buying Overpriced Chicken Caesar Salate, which was one of the only options that was other than chips and croissants. The chicken in the salads felt like the scraps that the hotel guests did not want and the salad was meh. All right, if you are in a jam and need food, but otherwise I would avoid that
I gave only 3*, as the deli, restaurants and cafes are only for hotel guests. Tourists or other visitors have no luck eating or eating here. Otherwise, the hotel's landscape and ambience was excellent. This Deli is located in the hotel.
6.50 for a big cappuccino? I think there was .25% liquid and the residual foam? A cappuccino, but come on. The staff is nice and I get that they make their money through upselling, but cold squeezed juice was $21.00 if you can buy the same juice in Canmore for $10.00.
Really tasty pastries and sweets. We enjoy getting sneaks from the place. Wonderful service.
