Before booking Lake Louise accommodation, I saw restaurants it seemed like I had no problem eating here. It was very difficult with other foods than salads. I would recommend staying in Banff where it is easy to eat, and come here for a few day trips. Veganuary
We had a mixed experience, but with a phenomenal view. Waiting is long for any service after sitting, but it is a great place to wait. I asked about the vegan menu after the server died. I ordered about four things from the menu, my spouse ordered from the non-vegan menu. When the food arrived 45 minutes later, everything I had ordered was not vegan milk and eggs all around. The server began to say that I had not ordered vegan, but then must have remembered to get me the vegan menu (which lasted about 15 minutes) specifically, and apologized and said he would put a rush on the food. The manager came and apologised 10 minutes later, and said the food would be torn and out in another 10 minutes. An hour later it arrived. It was all pretty good quality, but after all that the roasted rice that came out did not match the description on the vegan menu. It was a nice place to sit for a few hours, but if we had other plans not worked out. The waiter reduced the vegan article 50% as we waited for over 2 hours, but then he said he hoped that the service was great despite the waiting period. Weird, when he was previously alone responsible for the wrong order. Updated by previous rating on 2022-06-10
Great holiday ambiance and atmosphere. I'm glad to see that they have a separate vegan menu. The beyond burger is delicious and very, very filling.
I have to write this review in two parts one for afternoon tea and one for dinner. Afternoon tea was absolutely extraordinary. Definitely not cheap ($65 for vegan menu, $70 for regular menu), but definitely worth it. I loved her having a separate vegan menu with scenes and spreads, finger sandwiches and desserts. My favorite was the carrot cupcake! The experience was so decadent and satisfying. 5 stars for the afternoon tea. Dinner was a little underwhelming. There were very few vegan options 1 salad and 2 secondary dishes (local mushrooms and asparagus risotto). These options were all delicious, but overpriced and not very fillable. Three stars for dinner. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was incomparable.
