The Primrose has a predominately italian menu - my husband had the best lobster ravioli he has ever tasted as an entree and I had the risotto and shrimp - risotto always high risk - but this was superb. Terrific mains. Highly recommended. Pricey. Fabulous views. Excellent service.
We dined here as part of our rocky mountaineer dining package. Of course a short menu is given to us. No problem. But the wait time was over 1 1/2 hours for our entrée. Only 6 tables were sat when we walked in so we were so surprised waiting for our food and kept asking our waiter where our food was. Then the manager came over and was nasty with us for bothering the waiter. Our food finally came. My husband's chicken was dry and his risotto was starchy. My fish was dry and the risotto was so salty I just left the meal uneaten. Such a waste of time.
We had breakfast in this restaurant. While the buffet was good it was overprised. The first day we were served by one young waiter who was somehow rude. The next day we had a friendly one.
The food and service were excellent. We had a party of sixteen and the 2 waitresses kept track of every different child and family for 3 bills. Nice atmosphere with an excellent view. A bit pricey but the wait staff earned it.
