The chef really brought out the full flavours of the ingredients. Pure artistry was put into making and designing those dishes. I loved the caviar combined with the banana drink and the prawn dish was simply perfect. The fat on leave was also amazing. Just thinking about it makes me want to go back!
Not a big fan of Indian cuisine but has been wanting to try Gaa coz of its fame. Food did not disappoint.. quite innovative and unique dining experiences to me… grilled durian was the highlight of the night given I normally don’t eat durian. They charge THB4,400 which quite a reasonable price for the number of courses and the effort put into it.
Indian food with Thai sourced ingredients. Delicious, I recommend this restaurant. The waiter explains each course but his accent was so thick I often had no idea what I was eating. Many small courses. The menu is set, the only decision you make is whether to pair with wine or a series of delicious non-alcoholic drinks. 12,711 baht with non-alcoholic pairings, or 15,211 baht with wines. Although it was a delicious meal I’m not sure it was worth this price considering all the other wonderful restaurants you could go to.
It really is full of surprises, especially if you are not used to Indian food. I have good experience here.
We like small dishes. The grilled Durian main dish was heavy and doesn't taste anything special. We did not like it. They didn't really have good desserts. We were excited to go there but in the end we are quite disappointed. Very expensive, not good value for your money. The chefs still need lots of improvements. Also, they really rush to clean up the plates and glasses that we did not finish eating yet. Not a good experience. We realize afterwards that they want to have the guests for second round.
