Bong Platter - Bangalore

One of the best bong dishes we have ever had. Liked the preparation, exact spices with subtle flavor. A destination for authentic bengali food. We have become a fan of bong platter !!

It was our daughter's first birthday party and we wanted to make it a memorable event for everyone. We wanted to have some Bengali dishes in the party. One of my friend suggested Bong Platter. I called up Bong Platter. The talk with Debolina Di was so good. She is such a decent lady. She suggested Vasa Patturi' and I must say now I am glad that I went for it. Our friends and colleagues won't stop appreciating the entire event and specially the Vasa Patturi'. It was the icing on the cake. Thank you Debolina Di.

The food was super yum, specially i liked chicken jhol which was not overdone, and every taste is subtle and very much homely, not too rich not tasteless.... I thank Debalina di for being patient enough to customize order according to taste, and obviously the fish curry tastes so very like I m in Kolkata gulping ma, s home cooked food!!

I am very skeptical about trying Bong food in Bangalore, for the sole reason that some commercial places don't do justice to the dishes and i feel that some of the best dishes can come out only from a mother's Kitchen!
