Mia - Bangkok

I have been here already 3 4 times . This time We come back to try new MENU . What I like : Ingredients from all around the world. Only fresh and probably best . I feel it . Owner is not saving money on ingredients. Balance of taste . Sometimes it’s delicate, sometimes is Booom . Actually I like it, fun, not boring taste . But it is never too much Service is friendly and helpful . We booked online and get answers very fast . We also request more private table and got it . Cocktails that I tried before dinner was nice Dessert always wow here. I think is “must try” What need to improve: the Ac on our table is too cold the restaurant is quite hard to find , the signage lights is quite low I wish them to have nice terraces with view , because land quite big Great nice restaurant in very private land . Best for private party, date, birthday.

Excellent service and good ambiance. Had the 8 course tasting menu. No alcohol this time. Pork belly option way better than steak. Bill came out to about 13k for 2 people which seems fair. Very torn between giving 3 and 4 stars. The dishes were interesting in concept and beautifully presented, but some seemed over seasoned and needlessly complex. The courses seemed unbalanced towards being too rich for my taste. The tasting menu desserts although beautiful, were lackluster. Highlights were the appetizers, brioche, crab, pork belly, and my favorite was the salmon course- it was masterfully designed and prepared.

Upon entering an unassuming building off of a back street, you are first greeted with a kind staff member who helps begin your amazing journey that is Mia. Low lit, cozy and room that look like they are out of a boutique bed and breakfast, but Mia is anything but a place to sleep. The service was impeccable, doting on your every need, with the most extensive knowledge about the menu and wine they serve. The food itself cannot be describe by normal words. Everything served on beautifully curated dish ware, the ingredients well thought out and put together in a unique and delectable way. You end up wanting 5 of everything they serve, even though by the end, you are satiated beyond your wildest dreams. I cannot say enough words to appreciate the quality and taste of the food. Even the restroom is thought out and designed in a elegant, yet fun, way. It almost feels magically as you make your way through what appears to be a bookcase. This place is well worth a visit.

Delightful! Creative! Refreshing! Plentiful! Many well intentioned and beautifully presented fine dining experience does not come close to what MIA has accomplished. The pictures are impressive, but the bites will surprise and amaze. Words fail to do justice. Just book ahead when you are fortunate enough to visit Bangkok. Pro tip: even a visit to the lavatory will be a fun revelation.

What a place! A house middle of residential area. One would miss it easily. Fantastic decor and so great service. We have 8 course meal. Mostly delicious dishes, with excellent wine pairings. Few dish were a bit out, in a manner of balancing different ingredients and spices. But we ate all and everything with great pleasure. Will definitely visit again when in BKK. Do not miss the toilet!!
