In the realm of street food, this place truly lives up to the name "epic". The bark meat soup is heavenly, with rich earthy flavors and tender meat that practically melts in your mouth. The broth has been brewing for over 60 years, adding a depth of flavor that is unbeatable. While all the menu items are delightful, I particularly recommend the Mutton stew - it's packed with meat and has a wonderful aroma that pairs perfectly with white rice. Expect to spend around 200 per person for a meal and drinks. The portions are generous and the service is satisfactory. The highlight here is definitely the food. And for those who are fans of tendons and bone marrow, be sure to ask if they have them available.
The restaurant offered both English and Chinese menus, making it easy for foreign visitors to order. The service was quick and efficient, with staff busy preparing and cutting meat. I ordered dry bark noodles and mixed bark soup, both of which were delicious. I would highly recommend the mixed beef with flavorful soup base.
Tasty, waiting time is not that bad (most probably because there are no tourists right now). They offer both English and Thai menu, prices are not listed though.
Spare some time to wait if you want to dine in at lunch time. There are quite a number of delivery guys waiting for orders during peak hours. Beef is as good as it should. You won't regret. You can choose to cook at the table just like hot pot if you wish. I still prefer traditional beef noodle which is already good enough.
