Fresh salads with meals, it is a short eat and disappear from the style of there. We had: Vietnamese gumbo meeresfrench soup (bún m bad) there were meeresfrench and meat in this nut soup, some of the meeresfrench tasted/smolt. it was okay, but not the biggest. we had to get the seafood. Sugar cane prawns w/ dampened reisnudelsalat (bánh hỏi rau) yum! was delicious! pick up a piece green, layer with noodles, garnel, carrots, early swirl nuts. then they immerse in the chilli fish sauce.
One of the most tasteful bun bo hue I had in sydney. great value for money and the chili oil on the table is to die. crispy spring rolls that simply melt in the mouth! impresses in any case left
If you ever find yourself wanting to scratch a pho itch, then look no further. Let it be known that it won't scratch it completely, but you'll be left satisfied and with a warm and bloated belly. Their avocado / custard apple smoothies are among the best. I yearn for them. I dream of them. The very thought gets me hot and bothered. Typing this review makes me want one in my mouth right now. You could even say that the smoothies are the star of the show. Nah real talk though, pho here is pleasant and gets a solid 3.5 from ya boi.
Yep so this is the third place on the same street where I've ordered the exact same dish and this by far is the best. Dong Ba was good yes and Gia Hoi a close second, but in selecting a favorite you would be nitpicking because Bankstowners are really spoilt for choice. The simple taste yet long preparation time in the broth precedes the freshness of the meat (which still continues to cook in your bowl upon serving with the piling of fresh beansprouts and herbs into the rice noodles. Bathing in the cinnamon, clove and star anise marrow broth – the final fragrance that reels you in with soup spoon and chopsticks is so intoxicating.
What's better than having pho on a cold winter's night. Not the fanciest restaurant but is good if you just want something nice to eat and go about your day. Regular bowl of pho is $12 whilst a large would be $13. Pretty much standard price for pho now days. The food came out pretty quickly (within 10 minutes). I also ordered the Durian shake which is lovely and my brother ordered the avocado shake which is equally as nice. In terms of customer service, it's not that great. You have to call on the waiters a couple of times before they respond to your request. Overall, I recommend coming here for the food particularly the pho, but don't expect excellent customer service.
