We stood at the entrance for about 20 minutes waiting for someone to take our name for a table, but no one approached us. I wish I could comment on the food and atmosphere, but the poor service prevented me from experiencing them. Service: 1

My family and I arrived after 1pm today and were the only ones waiting at the hostess stand. We stood there barely acknowledged for at least 8-10 minutes. When someone finally came over to seat us you could tell adding 4 more people to their customer base was a total inconvenience for him. We sat down and heard many others already talking about the length of time they had waited for various items. After we waited for more than 5 minutes for the server to come out we decided to cut our losses and left. If you’re looking for good service and great food try the banner elk tavern. 10/10.

It is not to often that the one bite test puts a smile on our face. The food was deeeelicious and plentiful. Cost was reasonable and the staff friendly and attentive Highly recommended. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Zucchini Fries
