Razz Bistro and Bar - Banyule

Service great, and the food was delicious. When reading the menu it looked almost French. It will be changing to Indian in the next few weeks. Presentation was great.

We visited for a Mother's Day lunch and were left bitterly disappointed. The service was terrible. Drinks took half an hour to get to us and that's after we'd already waited and waited to order. FYI the restaurant was not even half full so that certainly wasn't the problem. The food was edible but only just. It was very loud in there. Oh and there was a massive cockroach in the bathroom. Enough to make sure I never go back there again

Visited with my family no one in the restaurant just the chef and I think the manager. Very polite guy comes to take our order, no eggplant chips, no seafood, no tacos, so things didn't start well, I ordered a lemon squash got a lemonade with a 7/11 type slurpee straw, bit strange. I ordered a burger, not sure what spices were used but have to say did not taste good at all, patti was dry, real dry. Chips had a citrus type of seasoning again I didn't like it. Wife had calamari which were fine but her salad was salty and had pepper which made it strange, kids had spaghetti bolognase decent serve no complaints from them. I didn't have the heart to tell this guy his meals were not good and based on this we won't be back, hopefully he reads this type of reviews as I cannot see them lasting long.

Staff are so awkward, food is average (well the pizza was) $3 for extra toppings and the most weird choice for pizza, there's no salami on any Coke served in McDonald's Coke glasses, the green setting needs changing, kinda sharing the dining with kitchen which makes for a very hot setting, coffee gets burnt need a proper barrister, wine isn't stored properly, way too hot, and the owners walking around in shorts and t shirt with thongs while his son is walking around playing on tables (by kid I mean 13-14) which makes it even more awkward.I feel bad because I don't want any business to fail and this place has such potential to be something special, much needed changes are needed ASAP. Unfortunately I won't be coming back.

Went here for dinner and ordered lamb shanks and then apple crumble. Portion size is big! Value for money. The food was better than I thought. The best I have had in the area. It is a great place to eat. The staff and service were great also. Highly recommended!
