Anchorage - Bar Harbor

So a great and affordable place to stay when you visit Acadia. Not only that, but the staff is phenomenal! They were so helpful to guide us in terms of good food spots and the best views in Acadia, it made our trip so easy!! And all the recommendations were amazing. At the next visit I definitely come back here! The rooms themselves were clean and cozy. Very comparable to a hotel itself. It is also a very close and convenient walk in the city centre. 5/5 recommend this place to anyone who visits Bar Harbor.

This hotel is located in a PRIME location for downtown Bar Harbor a few minutes walk to shops and restaurants. At check-in all the staff we met were very friendly. Susie the receptionist was over friendly, and even remembered taking time to ask about the walk we went on the following day. While the motel is very simple, it is very clean and has everything you need! I would definitely stay back! Also the coffee in the lobby is a nice plus! Thank you for a great stay!

The Anchorage Motel is centrally located in Bar Harbor and is the perfect location to walk to Bar Harbor and a quick ride or a mile to one of the many entrances to the Acadia National Park. Each room at Anchorage Motel has been recently renovated. They have new carpet, color, beds, updated bathroom with tiles or new wet wall panels, a beautiful TV, charging ports and a refrigerator. Both rooms in which I stayed were very clean, especially the bathroom, it was nice not to find other people hair. Compared to the other places in the Harbor Bar, the Anchorage Motel is perfect and affordable. A big thank you to all at the Anchorage Motel, Janette, Brandon and all the others who help this only mother to move her son without mistake!

Just a few minutes' walk from downtown Bar Harbor. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and a very good overall experience. It was a few miles to the Sand Beach entrance to the Acadia National Park.... so in the morning we checked out, we had time to shower and change after a hike.

We stayed for 3 nights. The place is completely remodeled with new rooms, everything is super clean and staff is very friendly. We even had free coffee in the morning. Rooms are good size and they have low rates. Perfect location for the park and walking distance into the town!
